Do you need a tank to transport fuel?

Today we have the opportunity to demonstrate the true utility that it brings, having a tank to transport fuel, since these have become progressively more and more necessary. In the market we can find a wide variety of designs and sizes, each one of them manufactured to satisfy the specific needs of the user.

It is at this moment where we find ourselves in the situation of asking ourselves: What is the best tank to transport fuel?

Through this article we will investigate the answer to this question, while we exhibit the characteristics of what we consider to be the best tank to transport fuel.

At Perez Precision Works We are a company with more than 20 years of experience in the manufacture and distribution of storage tanks, machinery and components based on stainless steel.

Tanks to transport fuel

We believe that the ideal tank to be able to carry out this task must have a series of particularities that guarantee the success of any procedure. Some of those features must be focused on the quality of the material, the capacity of the tank, the security and its compatibility with the fuel.

Based on this premise, we believe that one of the tanks for transporting fuel that is best able to meet these expectations is the one belonging to the Ecotankes range.

Ecotanks

It is a series of tanks made from linear polyethylene, which are equipped with the following components:

  • lockable lid
  • Security valve.
  • Level indicator.
  • Aluminum charging bowl.
  • Online filter.
  • Automatic pistol.
  • Pockets for lifting at full load.
  • Forklift.
  • Transfer group.
  • Handles for lifting.
  • Accommodations for the placement of fixing straps.

We mainly highlight the ECOTANKE 900 model, which is characterized by the acquisition of an exclusive design, by presenting an innovation of two combined tanks in one, specifically dealing with the storage of Diesel and Adblue, having a maximum capacity of 900 liters of diesel and 100 liters of Adblue.

external fuel tanks

So far we have thoroughly explored the characteristics and advantages of some of the tanks for transporting fuel, highlighting the quality and versatility of the tanks in the Ecotankes range, made of linear low-density polyethylene.

However, it is important to mention that if you are looking for secure fuel storage options for your generators, a fuel tank external is the ideal choice for you.

We are talking about containers specifically designed for the additional storage of flammable liquids, such as gasoline or diesel, outside the internal tanks of equipment or generators.

These tanks offer greater storage capacity and provide additional autonomy in situations where higher fuel consumption or longer duration is required without the need for frequent refills.

Polyethylene?

To begin with, we must clarify that polyethylene (PE) is one of the most used plastics around the world, due to its very useful properties that have allowed it to spread throughout all industries, segments and applications. It is thanks to the use of polyethylene that the idea of safely packaging food and prolonging its storage life can be conceived.

Linear low density polyethylene

This is a variant of PE that is available from high densities (up to 0.941 g/cc) to very low-density PE (0.905 g/cc). This type of polyethylene is mainly used for blown plastic films, rotomolding, injection molding for food packaging, frozen foods, manufacturing of storage and transportation tanks, among many other applications.
